em ee jay oh bee
I AM IN A ZOO GALAXY ON MOVIE DAY.
there is a pattern in the above sentence. can you figure out that pattern? can you?
ok, here is a hint: the spaces inbetween the words are part of the pattern.
got it yet?
ok, another hint: it is a simple, two part pattern.
any idea?
come on, you can do it.
ok, i will tell you.
every other space is a backwards spot, starting with a normal (forwards) letter. it just so happens that the letters i have chosen in the backwards spots are letters that are the same when written / displayed backwards, or is occupied by a space. of course, a backwards letter can fill a forwards space, since it is really both. there are 11 letters that fit this criteria.
they are: A H I M O T U V W X and Y.
i made a list of words that are composed strictly of these letters. MOUTH is the only word comprised of more than four of these letters.
i made a list of all words that fit the backwards / normal pattern. TEAMMATE and MOUNTAIN are the longest words i have come up with so far.
i also made a list of words that fit the normal / backwards pattern. CHEVY, MOVIE, QUOTE, QUAIL, LIMIT, STOUT, and GALAXY are the longest words i haveve come up with.
so much for getting to bed early tonight. i now have a new 'game' to play.
as for the title. i received a phone call today. i have a phone interview with the medical products company i mentioned last friday regarding the mechanical engineering (em ee) job. i wish it was a face to face interview. shy and quiet me actually feels more comfortable in a face to face interview. the only advantage with the phone interview, i don't have to dress up. it also works out better considerring the first of the 4 jobs i went to today took me 4-1/2 hours, for many various reasons. therefore i only got 2 of the 4 jobs i had planned to do today. plus, i was seven minutes late for the meeting, the last person to show up. at least i did stay awake through it, but it was tough. so i have to do the one job tomorrow. the other job will be done next thursday, as the customer was agreeable to this change.
