let the warping begin

it finally arrived. IT FINALLY ARRIVED!

not my special pantyhosed leg lamp, it's my security clearance card from the wonderful state of AZ. not that i was worried about being rejected, i was worried how long it would take. because this wonderful little white plastic card is what is going to allow me to finally obtain my certification to become a substitute teacher, which could lead to eventually becoming a full time teacher. still, i wonder if it is the right path. it seems hard to imagine education not being right, but other avenues still tempt me. regardless, going downtown the get my certification so i could maybe feasibly start subbing one week after i get back from OH just got added to my already busy schedule for tomorrow.

ok, this will be another tsuki factor length entry. i just made my bed. it was so enticing to just jump in upon completion. but despite my 47 hour work week (1 hr was on sunday night, 2-1/2 hours was subtracted today for the annual work christmas party at old chicago) that just ended, i am unexpectedly full of zip and vinegar. it is now after 2:00AM though. i still don't feel that tired, but i know i have alot to do tomorrow, so i hope the energy i am feeling now carries over.

seems hard to believe that in 36 hours i (hopefully) will be landing in cleveland. i am damn glad i am not going thru denver as i have in the past. i just hope this storm doesn't head east to o'hare, where my one and only layover is.

phones with the camera button on the side. what were they thinking???

ok, tsuki is sure to get in very, very soon. it is too late, and i have worked too much this week.

rollercoaster

i should be in bed now, catching up on sleep. the mini high i was on right after dinner is quickly dissipating. the pace has been rapid since i got out of the shower. if tsuki comes in soon, it's over.

therefore, let me show u this.

mmm, this thing never puts pictures where i want them.

yes, this is a crappy picture. it wasn't a crappy event though. it was my friends daughter's first christmas recital thang that her entire kindergarten class put on. sometimes, when plans do not work out, it is a great thing. tonight was a perfect example. as always seems to be the case when hanging out with this couple, the ending was weird. now i have a minor dilemma in regards to an implied situation that may or may not exist. if it does actually exist, that is no bueno. if it doesn't, well there are big variables that lay here also. glad to get that off my chest. :)

irregardless, it was a good night and a welcome change from the hecticness of this week. tomorrow is thursday, right? sure feels like it.

ok, tsuki just got back in a little bit ago.

buenos noche.

this is the song

the weekend has arrived!

i am going RC truck racing again tonight. i think i am going to buy a truck after the holidays.

there is talk of hiking. probably just a short hike, 4.0 miles roundtrip to pusch ridge.

ok, i will put my mt wrightstown pics up, and hopefully post the latest tribe news.

Z

it is so amazing how time flies. i have contemplated going on a blog hiatus till after i get back from OH, but i know i can't stay away that long.

i saw ziggy and his 9 member band last night at the rialto. AWESOME! the way i felt at work today: not so awesome, till late afternoon. almost definitely will be my last concert of 2006.

the year is almost over. tick, tick, tick.

now its time for z's.

much better

as always seems to be the case, dec 2 felt great. the day of the 1st sorta sucked, the night rocked! i think i am going to buy an RC truck. it wasn't pretty, but it was fun. afterwards, i did happen to imbibe, but it was all good. :)

yesterday was sweet. hiked to the top of mt wrightstown in madera canyon. 9,640 foot elevation. and each of the 'three amigos' carried our new full size backpacks, loaded with at least 4L (minimum) of water and unnecessary supplies. the reason: it was for practice for future longer, harder (than the hike to camp near the window) hiking / camping trips. like our proposed start-at-pima-canyon-and-end-in mt-lemon adventure which is loosely scheduled for feb. i think march is more practical / advantageous / realistic. ok, this doesn't belong here.

the i-wish-i-had-my-camera-today moment: i was leaving work. i looked out towards the mt lemon / rincon-ish area. the full moon is climbing over a mountain ridge. just a sliver of the bottom is covered. by the time i travelled ~ 3-4 miles, it was well above the ridge it was now over. between the bright moon, the mountains, and the dusk-y sky, it would have been sooo awesome.
segue: the pic above was taken on my way back to the yard, the friday after thanksgiving (that i had to work ): the sun was more pronounced (aka higher in the 'u') in earlier pics (i took seven overall), but i still like this one the best. it was all about the clouds.

ok, i have to check on the availability of ziggy marley tix for tomorrow, pick out a x-mas present i want from a catalog for my aunt, and then i can work on downloading the pics on my hiking site.
