gene simmons is a dick! DO NOT BUT ANY OF HIS CRAP. he was henry rollins guest tonight. i cannot believe henry did not confront him. instead, henry acted clueless, and seemed to 'buddy up' to him. gene even plugged his VISA KISS card. henry kept talking about music, gene kept talking about money. gene opennly admitted he could give a f* less about music, many times. henry did not seem to get it. i was very disappointed.

as i was before watching cleveland loose 4-1 to the nationals tonight. my buddy sean & i watched the game together. i hadn't seen him since may 13th.

it has been a weird day. i got up, ate breakfast, got on-line for a little, then took a nap. i talked to a buddy from OH, went to the bank and blockbuster. other than that, i have not done didley.

even this week was sorta weird. i only worked 36.75 hours. it was my shortest mon-thurs work week this year. it was nice. anything above 103 is sorta hot, especially when u are working outdoors. getting off early and watching the tribe games and /or going swimming is nice. i even got to talk to my god daughter on weds night. we had a 35 minute conversation. that was pretty cool.

my buddy is going to see hot tuna at the fox theatre tomorrow night. that is pretty tempting. hot tuna is composed of some buffalo springfield band members. it was a project that originated back in the b-s days. plus, i have never been to fox theatre. i heard it is nice.

ok, one of thew two movies i rented is pan's labrynth. i am anxious to watch it.

i am not dead. but it is baseball season. it has been a good one so far. it is hard to go two or three days without posting something.

i just got done watching 'before dinosaurs'. finally discover channel had something good on. i am not into watching crab fisherman.

not much new around here. the number two technician at my work badly broke his arm, falling off a stepstool ladder pruning trees for his parents. that means bigger workload for me.

OH was great, as always. it also flew by, as always.

most likely, i am going to the salt river to go tubing this weekend.

there was an excellent article in this month's discover mag regarding alien life. alien life here on earth. alien inregards to current, DNA based life. the main postulate for the theory seems to be an excellent one, but one that has yet to be validated elsewhere. the postulate is that two or more types of life developed. while that theory sounds reasonable at first, it slowly but surely wanes. there vare too many different possibilities. maybe we are the only planet in the universe to have life. maybe life happens everywhere, but it all is DNA based. maybe DNA life killed off other life types here. maybe other types of non DNA life did evolve, but weren't successful at adapting. survival of the fittest is the norm. maybe life was introduced here through a comet, asteroid, or meteor from venus or mars; thus eliminating the 'life originated here' portion of the statement. what if many different types of life developed here. a cataclysmic event killed off everything. but DNA life escaped into space on rocks that orbited the earth via a comet or meteor impact. these rocks could have orbitted the earth, or even gone to a much different venus or mars. they thrived on their new planet, but that success did not last on alien soil. but before it was wiped out, it caught a ride back to earth via the same process that brought it to the temporary planet. maybe conditions here were only right for DNA life to develop. irregardless, how would we find that alien life, here on earth? on mars? elsewhere?
something to think about.

no rafting this weekend. oh well, i have some friends to help move. a have a friend who needs help building his house. i have me who needs some time off.

peace
